(minimaluustic but pretty cool)
Of course. Minimaluu is full responsive and looks sweet on desktops, tablets and mobile phones.
I really hate bloated Premium Wordpress Themes with tons of options and shit you'll never need. Minimaluu is leightweight, clean, simple and super fast!
As the name says, this theme is designed with minimalism in mind. It's ideal for Designers and Photographers. Minimaluu lets your work speak for itself.
Choose between a 1 to 5 column grid. You have also the possibility to set the thumbnail format to landscape, portrait or square. Whatever fits your needs.
Simply upload your own Logo and Favicon through the Wordpress Theme customizer. You don't need to touch any code.
I have added some subtle but fancy CSS3 animations. There is also a built-in option to load posts via Ajax.
Ready to showcase your work
Minimaluu is made in beautiful style with great typography. It is suitable for Personal Portfolio, Freelancers or even Creative Agencies.
The Template is designed with the focus to show your creative work or photography. It offers a lot of whitespace and is completely distraction free. Choose between a one to five column grid view and define the thumbnail format as you wish. Minimaluu offers you a widget for the intro text and four widget areas in the footer of the site.
No need to touch any code
Minimaluu offers you some customisation options. No bloated shit, just the basics:
How to install and setup Minimaluu
Go to Appearance → Themes in your WordPress admin panel. Upload your downloaded copy of Minimaluu (from GitHub) and click the Install now button. Make sure to activate the theme.
Navigate to Appearance → Customize. Play around with the options and choose whatever setting you like. Make sure to change and save the thumbnail format the first time in order to work properly.
Head over to Settings → Reading. Make sure the number of displayed posts will match with your choosen grid option. E.g. If you chose the 3 column grid, you'd want to display 6, 9 or 12 posts.
Go to Appearance → Menus and create your menu which will appear under the hamburger icon. You can add pages, external links, categories etc.
Go to Appearance → Widgets and add a text widget to the about header widget area. Add whatever you like to the four available widget areas in the footer.
Head over to Posts → Add New. Just make sure to set a featured image as this will show up at the front page. I recommend to disable comments. It sucks on portfolio sites. ;-)
I really enjoyed developing this Wordpress theme and I'm glad to finally give the community something back. However, It took a lot of time designing, developing and testing it. I don't ask for much, but I would be very grateful if you'd follow me on Twitter or Dribbble or if you simply tweet about Minimaluu. Thank you! PS. Minimaluu is also on GitHub.
